We welcome and appreciate any further support of the work of RETAS through donating money or goods.
How can you help?
RETAS is a small, grassroots charity carrying out crucial front-line work to support the needs of refugees and asylum seekers in Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield. While our projects receive funding from several different sources, this funding is naturally confined to time-frames and distributions laid out in our proposals. As such, RETAS deeply appreciates the support of our community and relies on the generosity of others in order to go above and beyond our standard project work and to ensure that projects are long-lasting.
There are several ways you can be part of the work at RETAS by contributing financially:
No matter how small the donation, every little helps us to change the lives of refugees and asylum seekers in Leeds in a big way, for example:

We also welcome any donations of food or essential items that we can support our service users with. Please get in touch even if you are unsure if we can take certain donations as we can always signpost you to another organisation.
Support our Crowdfunder: Hello, how are you?
RETAS staff member Tesfalem has organised a crowdfunding campaign with a target of £1000. These funds will be used to buy international phone credit for refugees and asylum seekers to contact family and friends at home.
Your donation will mean a refugee or asylum seeker in Leeds can make contact, for perhaps the first time in weeks or months, with their loved ones. You can support Tesfalem's crowdfunding campaign here:
RETAS welcomes anyone wanting to fundraise for us and hopes that we can support you in this should this be of interest to you.
